YUMMY Food, the wait wasn't long, and the staff is very nice. This food was better than I expected, and you get a bang for your buck.

Scratch made food. Maybe a little more mild in flavor than I'm used to. If you're just trying Mediterranean or if you don't love heavy spices like dill and fennel, this is the perfect t place for you. Everything was fresh with large portions. Staff were kind and quick on their feet. They also gave me a free piece of baklava and lentil soup. Would recommend and will be returning.

First time stopping in for lunch and everything was amazing! Excellent falafel and service. (Wish I asked for more tzatziki- sooo good.) The outside seating was an unexpected surprise considering they are stuck in a little strip mall setting but had a nice open/green place to enjoy looking at instead of a parking lot. Wine price seemed a bit high at $8 glass but there was complimentary lentil soup, that was also very tasty.

Delicious!! We got the family meal for a family get together and everybody was happy, even me the vegan lol. The lentil soup is delicious, I'm always craving it. I'll def order again!! I'd love a side of rice option too!!

Ok, so we are used to going to Wally's in Emeryville/Oakland, and have always loved everything about it. So, when we found out that there was not just one but TWO Wally's in the Roseville/Rocklin area, we just had to get down to see if it was true. And, it is! Same family owns and runs these stores (brothers) so we knew it would be a great experience. The interior is simple and clean. You are warmly greeted at the door by a family member, and seated. This location has a nice little (small but adequate) outdoor deck alongside the building, overlooking a green tree lined lot. It's unfortunate this is a strip mall and the dumpsters are just across the way, but they have no influence on that, and you can certainly overlook that (just look the other way, ok). LOL Your meal will start with a bowl of lentil soup, and some pita. For our mains, this time we enjoyed the chicken pomegranate dinner and the beef shawarma plate. Both, of course were excellent and very filling. They serve you a lot of food here. We are so glad that Wally's and family are in the area!

This place was unbelievable. I was skeptical since this location and the other location has 4.5-5 stars, but I can see why this place has so many amazing reviews. The flavors of all of the dishes are the closest that one can get to a home cooked Mediterranean/Lebanese dish. The veggie platter - PLENTY TO SHARE! easily 2-3 people can share this dish. Everything on the platter was amazing, but the falafel and hummus were just out of this world flavorful. Most places have very dry falafel but not these!! The chicken kabob was very moist and flavorful! The complementary lentil soup was NOT heavy at all, very light and cozy. Complementary baklava was not too sweet and just the perfect ending to a meal. The service alone is 5 stars. You feel like you're eating in someone's home because they're so welcoming, but it can be busy during peak meal time hours.

Looking for some delicious Mediterranean food in Rocklin? Look no further than Wally's Cafe! This restaurant is a hidden gem, serving up some of the best falafels and baklava around. But it's not just the food that sets Wally's Cafe apart. The service is also top-notch. Robbie, the manager, is amazing and really takes care of the guests. He's always attentive and makes sure that everything is running smoothly. One of my favorite dishes at Wally's Cafe is their lentil soup. It's the perfect comfort food on a chilly day, and it's packed with flavor and healthy ingredients. And of course, I can't forget to mention the falafels and baklava. They are absolutely divine! The falafels are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the baklava is just the right amount of sweet. Overall, I highly recommend Wally's Cafe for anyone looking for delicious Mediterranean food and amazing service. It's a must-visit restaurant in Rocklin!

Many of my friends have been raving about Wally's Cafe, located on Granite Drive in Rocklin, CA for quite some time, and have been giving special kudos to Wally's authentic Lebanese cuisine, and the amazing hospitality offered by the restaurant. I truly am a lover of Mediterranean cuisine, and I trust the opinion of my "foodie" friends in every way, so today, it was time for me to head over to Wally's Cafe, and enjoy... As you enter the restaurant, you'll notice the meeting/greeting station, the counter, and the open kitchen. The restaurant offers a comfortable combination of tables and booths, in the spacious and attractive dining room. I love the open kitchen, where you can watch the talented chef prepare your meal. Menus are placed on the table in front of the counter for your dining pleasure. Wally's Cafe is a "sit down" restaurant, but also offers their hospitality online and over the phone, and can deliver your menu to you, using "to-go" services. Wally's offers a great selection of beer and wine, and you get your wine served in a glass from the attractive wine rack placed above the order counter. As a bonus, they are one of the restaurants in the greater Sacramento area that offer Almaza beer, which is an amazing Lebanese lager beer, imported from Lebanon. I was in the mood for appetizers, so besides the soup, I went with two types of hummus, a side of "Pickles," along with the order of pita bread that preceeded my main dish of "Lamb Kabobs." The "appetizers" could have been a complete meal, but today I was hungry, and I wanted a generous sampling of the delicious cuisine that Wally's Cafe has to offer, and to sample as many offerings from the menu as I could. Yes, I did bring some home in a box to enjoy for dinner... From the "Specialty Plates" section of the menu, I went with #12, "Lamb Kabobs." Like every dish that's listed on this section of the menu, my lunch arrived with a side of pita bread. The menu describes this delicious choice as, "Two lamb skewers served with rice pilaf, salad, and tzatzki." That's a really simple description for such an amazing lunch! The main entreé of this delicious Lebanese favorite was lamb kabobs, which is marinated, roasted lamb meat, cut in bite-sized chunks, and served on a skewer. The ample portion of lamb meat was simply delicious, as it was grilled to perfection, juicy, tender and made for the showcase of my "Mediterranean delight" of a late lunch/early dinner. I loved the juicy flavor of the lamb, which was enhanced by the grilling, along with the maridade and basing with tzatziki sauce. Delicious! The braised lamb kabobs were placed on a bed of a large helping of savory, golden brown rice pilaf, which made for a n amazing side dish, and a great presentation for the lamb kabobs. The rice pilaf was simply delicious, as I could TASTE the chicken broth, and all of the homemade goodness of the made-from-scratch recipe, as this amazing side dish was imply flavorful, and was the essential Mediterranean side, any way you look at it. Salad was a "Greek Salad," which included slices of fancy green and purple lettuce, fresh spinniich leaves, diced tomato, sliced red onion, sliced cucumber, feta cheese, seasoned with extra virgin olive oil, ground pepper, and diced orgegano. Wally's Cafe specilizes in "Extra Virgin" olive oil for seasoning, as olive oil is healthy, flavorful and adds a distinct "nutty" taste, which makes for amazing flavor. My salad was made from fresh ingredienients, which made it simply delicious, and the salad added an fresh, cool side to my lunch. The tzatzki sauce worked well with the salad, and the entire lunch, to add an extra dimension to my amazing meal... Like all meals from the "Specialty Plates" section of the menu, my "Lamb Kabobs" included a basket of "Pita Bread," which had arrived with the wide array of appetizers and soup that I'd ordered. The bread was simply delicious and made for great dipping, and a way to sop up the last of the savory juice. I dipped my lamb and salad into the cup of tzatzki sauce. As my host, Robbie explained to me, "Our tzatzki sauce is made in-house and made from a family recipe." Oh yes... the yogurt-based sauce was simply delicious, and it could have been a stand-alone for a side dish, and it made for a creamy enhancement for my lunch. Braised lamb, pilaf, Greek salad, pita bread... along with the other appetizers... Wally's Cafe, simply made for a "over-the-top-amazing" lunch, thanks to the delicious Lebanese cuisine, and the amazing service of my host, Robbie. The fine Lebanese cuisine I enjoy at Wally's Cafe was BEYOND delicious, and the amazingly friendly hospitality I enjoyed made today's dining experience both delicious and priceless. I wish I could rate this amazing restaurant higher than five stars, but trust me, Wally's Cafe is FIVE STAR dining!

We had a random Foodie gold strike yesterday. Had to pick up a wheel for the car in Rocklin, looked at Yelp for some general ideas in the area. Wanted to have lunch with my son and some other family members while there. Found a Lebanese restaurant a quarter mile away with FIVE stars and some really killer pics. One really stood out, Pomegranate Chicken and Beef. So Meal Team Six assembled and on arrival were promptly greeted, tables connected by the gracious staff. Wally's Cafe on Granite Boulevard, Rocklin, CA. Started out with Dolmas, Pickles, Falafel, Tabouleh Salad, Tzatziki dip with Pita bread, Kibbeh (secret menu) and Turkish Coffee. Every single thing was excellent. Turkish coffee was ten levels of perfection, dark, rich and thick. The Lentil soup they serve as a free app was also excellent. Salads were popping with a lemon vinaigrette. The staff was on top of the game like no other. Beyond perfect service, checking frequently on taste, refilling drinks like a well oiled machine. Taking time to explain all the menu items, and just plain being nice helps me spend more money. This is what I strive for in a restaurant visit. Treated us like close family. Everyone loved the entrees. The pomegranate chicken combo with regular beef was life changing. I shared some with my wife and son, they all agreed. The egg white/garlic sauce had a nice kick, we just enjoyed every moment. Even the rice was rocking 1000%. This place will be a stop on future visits. The Dolmas were also devoured by all. #1 #gourmet Baklava was top two in my life, and I have been around the Baklava block a few times.

Everything is delicious!! we got the veggie platter which comes with all the appetizers and dips, salad, dolmas and more. Love the baba ganoush, hummus and Tzatziki. Lentil soup is complementary - also very good. Pomegranate chicken is slightly sweet and very flavorful, although the texture is a little dry. It goes well with the dips like hummus and Tzatziki. BEST Falafel I have ever had - warm, crispy outside, soft and moist inside, perfect flavor and absolutely fantastic. Will definitely come back!!
